Job search class

Job hunting takes a lot of commitment and discipline. The way we look for work has changed over the years. Currently, you will require basic IT skills to be successful in your job hunt. You will only put yourself at a disadvantage if you resist learning basic IT skills.

Furthermore, when you look for work, a key fact is that you are likely to get more rejections than job opportunities. However, you cannot give up if you want good results.

We have listed the things that you need to have and be able to do yourself to improve your chances getting a job. Do not worry, we are here to help you to develop the skills required to apply for jobs online on your own.

Do not skip any from the list below so that you do not reduce your chances.

1. You must have an email address

You should know how to use emails on a computer and smart a phone. Some organisations no longer send letters to your postal address and expect you to reach messages online.

'Do not worry, we can teach you'. You only need to be willing to learn

2. You must have a CV

Have an electronic copy of your CV accessible from anywhere not just a paper version. You must be able to update your CV by yourself when you change jobs
