Homeless Employability Drop In Programme is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
Dominion Training has secured a National Lottery Community Fund (Awards For All) grant to help homeless individuals and families from the Wakefield District
The first programme of its kind in West Yorkshire, ‘ Homeless Employability Drop In Programme’ will help individuals who are homeless, sleeping rough and or at risk of becoming homeless to build their confidence and overcome the challenges they face in finding employment. The programme will be personally tailored to individual needs and will include help with personal development, health and wellbeing, and to develop life-skills including digital technology. The programme aims to benefit local communities by reducing poverty and anti-social behaviour.
Begining from Monday 8th April, 2024, Dominion Training will work with the stake holders in the District and will support all the homeless in developing employability skills and moving them closer to the labour market and sustainable employment.
