Traineeship includes training and a work placement, which we will help you find and apply for, and a work preparation to make sure you do the best you can while you are on your placement.
Duration of a Traineeship Programme
Our Traineeship for the Security and Care Sector course is for those looking for a career in Security and Healthcare careers. This 6 to 14-week course includes a classroom-based learning programme, where you will be working towards Levels 2 in SIA Security (Door Supervisor / CCTV) and Levels 1 and 2 Health and Social Care, followed by a work experience placement with a local employer.
At the end of the Traineeships you will get the following:
- Nationally recognised qualification at level 2
- Quality CV
- Functional Skills Qualification in English and Maths up to Level 2
- Employability Skills
- Good references
- Quality tips and hints on job search techniques
- Etc.

This includes the Level 3 First Aid cost which is now mandatory and delivered as part of the training. Time is 9 am to 6pm. all candidates need to be enrolled and must have done the assessments at least two weeks before the training.
